Falco Tech is asking for your help. We need to raise approximately $16,000.00 to travel to, stay at and pay the entry fee for the World Championships. We are currently selling suckers, area discount cards and candy bars. We also have a donation site with gofundme.com/fitch robotics. Donations can be make out to "Austintown Local School/Fitch Robotics" and are tax deductible. Thank you.
After 2 miserable days of getting the robot up and running, we started Saturday with determination and it paid off. 1st seed 379 from Girard, Ohio picked Team 1592 from Cocoa, Florida and their third pick was Falco Tech! Our alliance won six of the seven rounds and came away as the winners! The whole alliance was awarded slots at the World Championships in St. Louis, MO April 22 thru the 25th. I am VERY proud of our Team. No more being a bridesmaid! ON TO ST. LOUIS!!!
Wed 2/25/2015 Mr. Siembieda will be welding the frame for the practice bot. Anyone interested in seeing and learning the welding process, is invited to his shop All-Do-It Technical Service, LLC at 540 N. Meridian Road at 5:00pm.
I would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the event yesterday.
Thanks also goes out to the Robotics parents as well as the FRC and FLL team members. This could not have been done without you.
